Thanks to Carmel Thomas and her superb youth singers for this weekend’s Dazzle recording sessions at Loyola Preparatory School in London.
The children's choir, famous for their contributions to the West End production of Joseph and other Really Useful Group shows, have been rehearsing Limelight Musical's Dazzle for the past two months.
Carmel says: "Dazzle is a fantastic show and full of sparky, funny, inspirational songs. The children love performing them. It has been a joy to teach.
"We have already performed some of the songs from the show, written by Andrew Bailey, at one of our concerts. They went down a storm. We now want to put on a full scale production of Dazzle to really do the show justice.”
The 50-strong children's chorus, aged between 6 and 16, perform in concerts internationally and were recently invited to perform an Andrew Lloyd Webber medley at the London Palladium for a Royal Command Performance.
The first Dazzle CD is now in the final stages of production and should be completed shortly.
